10 Sumptuous Champagne Cocktails

An Array of fresh summer champagne cocktails
During the warm weather months, there’s nothing more satisfying for the palette then a chilled glass of fine Champagne, that is unless it happens to be a glass of fine Champagne cocktail. Immersed your taste buds in a burst of lively effervescent. Let your hair down and indulge in some luscious champagne cocktails – some will be simple, and some will require more planning, but all are delicious and worth a try.
Remember to always serve Champagne cold, the ideal drinking temperature is 7 – 9 °C (43 to 48 °F).
1. 21st Martini
2 ½ oz. Rum
2 oz. Guava Juice (fresh or frozen)
2 oz. Fresh-pressed Sugar Cane Juice
Champagne or Sparkling wine
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the rum, guava juice, and sugar cane juice. Shake well, strain into a guava sugar-rimmed martini glass, and top with champagne or sparkling wine.
2. Tahiti Typhoon
3/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Gin
Champagne
Serve in a tall glass, fill with Champagne and ice.
3. Kir Royal
1 oz. Creme de Cassis
Champagne
Pour Crème de Cassis and top with Champagne. Garnish with lemon twist and/or blackberry.
4. French 75
1 ½ oz Gin
2 oz. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
Champagne
Cherry for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the Gin, lemon juice, and powdered sugar, shake
well, strain into champagne flute. Top with champagne, and garnish with lemon twist or
a cherry.
5. Fancy Panties
2 oz. Vodka
2 oz. Pink Lemonade
4 oz. Brut® Champagne
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the Pink Lemonade and Vodka, shake well, strain into champagne flute. Top with Brut® Champagne or sparkling wine.
6. Savoy 2000
(American Bar, The Savoy, London)
2/3 oz. Gin,
2/3 oz. Midori,
1/3 oz. Limoncello,
1 2/3 oz. Mango Juice.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the Gin, Midori, Lemoncello, and mango juice, shake well. Pour into glass frosted with sugar, and top with champagne.
7. Agua de Valencia
1/4 liter Cava® Spanish Champagne
3/4 liter orange juice
1 dl Cointreau® orange liqueur
50 g sugar
Put all ingredients in a pitcher. The Cava needs to be very cold.
8. Flirtini
2 pieces fresh pineapples
1/2 oz. Cointreau® orange liqueur
1/2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
Champagne
Muddle pineapple pieces and Cointreau® in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add vodka and pineapple juice and stir. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and top with champagne. Garnish with a cherry.
9. Night and Day
3 oz. Champagne
3/4 oz. Cognac
1/2 oz. Grand Marnier® orange liqueur
1/4 oz. Campari® bitters
Add to a tall glass with crushed ice.
10. Ritzy Raspberry Revelry
(Hemingway Bar, Hotel Ritz, Paris)
Pour into a champagne flute 2/3 ounce vodka in which raspberries have macerated for at least 10 days. Top with champagne.
Garnish with a red rose.
